Frost’s Blog

Hi, my name is Frost and I’m a light fawn male alpaca cria (baby alpaca) and this is my blog.  I live in a field with my Mum, Amber, seven other alpacas and six llamas.  I was born on Friday 6th Aug 2010, so I am currently just 3 weeks old.  Life in my field is anything, but boring.  There’s never a dull moment, especially when my people are around.  There are three of them – the feeding person, the big person and a person cria.  One of them turns up every morning to feed us, well to feed my Mum and the other grown ups, I get my food from Mum’s milk bar – yummy!   The other day the big person got hold of me and the feeding person stuck something in me.  I struggled to get away from the big person, but he was too strong.  Never mind, I’ll get my revenge when I’m bigger! I have some playmates in the field with me.  Here is the three of us heading into the pen.  Frodo is in the lead, he’s the youngest.  The beautiful mid brown cria behind me is Fudge.  She’s the eldest of us, but I’m in charge because I’m the biggest.  I’m off for a drink and a run about now, but keep checking back to my blog to see what the three of us have been up to.
